LL.M. in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law
The Academy on Human Rights and Humanitarian Law at the American University Washington College of Law is offering an LL.M. in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law. The LL.M. in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law is currently the only program in the United States to offer a hybrid program of its kind in a U.S. law school. This unique hybrid program, with online and residential course components, is designed for practitioners and other human rights advocates who wish to pursue advanced studies in international human rights law and humanitarian law alongside their existing work responsibilities.
Program of Advanced Studies on Human Rights and Humanitarian Law
This program takes place during the summer and allows students to prepare themselves to contribute to the human rights field, to build relationships with colleagues from around the world, to establish connections with faculty from around the world, to attend special events in Washington, DC, and to earn Academic or CLE credits, a Certificate of Attendance or a Diploma for their participation.
