At White Code Centre, we consider visual art to be a powerful tool for driving social change, igniting conversations and challenging the status quo. So when we came across the work of South African artist - Franli Meintjes, and saw how she is trying to build bridges between races using mixed media and photography, we knew we had to run a feature on her!
We have made this feature to coincide with the celebration of women's month in South Africa. Even as we push for greater respect for women's rights, we recognize and celebrate the outstanding contributions being made to our societies by women like Franli. We see you and we celebrate you!
